Employees

The company provides any necessary equipment and vehicles, and travel is sometimes required as work locations change and projects start and finish. Exact openings at any given time vary based on the location and requirements of specific customer projects, but often include:
- Splicers (fiber and coax)
- Sweep technicians
- MDU/Install technicians
- Aerial construction foremen
- Linemen/groundmen
- Field supervisors
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, and are preferred to have prior experience.
Subcontractors
NextGen hires subcontractors for certain projects, based on their location, size and schedule. Although these people do not work for nextGen, the company carefully screens and pre-qualifies them as if they do to ensure the work delivered will be in line with the customer’s expectations and nextGen’s reputation. The pre-qualification process includes analysis of a subcontractor’s quality of work, financial viability, insurance coverage, customer references, and efficiency and professionalism of its workforce.
